What a way to kick off the summer!
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport hosted its first in-person live event, ATL Airport Career Fair, on June 30, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Of course, in the post-pandemic world, health and safety are priority one. So in planning and executing this event, we had to accommodate our new normal.
This year we socially distanced booths, distributed masks, and incorporated touch-free paperless solutions for registration and booth maps. Also new this year we had an on-boarding station to help get new hires vetted as quickly as possible.
My roll in this event ws to design social media marketing, promotional flyers and wayfinding signs, graphics and collateral. I also designed the booth floor plan plus the promotional website and Eventbrite registration pages for employers, volunteers and job-seekers.
This event broke our previous records for employers (69), job opportunities (3,600+) and number of new hires (656 at the time of this posting). I am happy to say we held a successful event.
